California CLASS Welcomes New Senior Director of Investment Services Jerry Legg
Sacramento, CA, November 15, 2023 — California Cooperative Liquid Assets Securities System (California CLASS) is pleased to announce that Jerry Legg has recently joined California CLASS as a Senior Director of Investment Services where he is responsible for new business development, cultivating new relationships, and servicing existing clients and participants.
Prior to joining California CLASS, Jerry served as Senior Vice President – Government Banking Manager for both Rabobank and most recently, Five Star Bank where he created and ran their respective Government Banking Departments. His roles included all phases of engagement from prospecting, initial sales presentations through implementation, RFPs, rate quotes, and treasury product sales. Additionally, he developed all new public funds products, policies, procedures, and marketing materials catering to public sector clients.
Jerry also held the role of Manager, Financial Services Section & Vault for the California State Treasurer’s Office where he managed the Daily Cash Desk of the California State Treasury, completed daily cash flows, determined the daily funds available for investment, chaired annual bank meetings with state depository banks and previously managed the commercial paper program.

Mr. Legg earned a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness management from Rutgers University and is a Certified Treasury Professional. Additionally, he serves as Board Vice Chair of Seniors First.
He is the third member of the dedicated California CLASS Relationship Team, joining Bob Shull, Senior Director of Investment Services, and Crystal Lynn, Director of Investment Services. Bob joined the team in May 2022 and Crystal came on board in May 2023. California CLASS is excited to offer the expertise of our three investment services directors to public agencies across the state of California.
